Our students are the best advertisement for what we achieve at St Mary's. They will tell you that we are ambitious and we settle for nothing less than the best. This is drawn from our Mission as a Catholic college: "To Love and Serve Christ Within Us All."
Continually challenging ourselves to do even better for our students has underpinned our rapid improvement at GCSE level.
Excellent academic results are vital but we are equally committed to the personal spiritual, moral and social education of our students. We offer an exceptional programme of enrichment opportunities with fantastic opportunities both at home and abroad.
Our size is a great strength of the college. It enables us to offer a breadth of curriculum choice that is the envy of other schools. Our pastoral care is judged by external agencies as an example of excellent practice.
Our many successes are built on the partnerships we enjoy with our parents, partner primary schools, local parishes and the commitment of our Governing Body to keep supporting and challenging us to do even better. We are delighted with the fact that so many of our staff are also parents at St Mary's.
I would love you, as parents of prospective students, to have the opportunity to spend the evening with our Sixth Form leavers at their Annual Leavers' Ball. It is a privilege to be in the company of such fine young men and women ready to move on to the next stage of their lives. They tell me that their time at St Mary's has been memorable in so many different ways.
