Year 8 Parents’ Evening
Thursday 11th February 3.30pm – 6.30pm
Dear Parents and Carers
I am writing to invite you to our Year 8 Parents’ Evening which is to be held in College on Thursday 11th February 2016 from 3.30 – 6.30pm.
This is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s individual subject teachers, discuss your child’s progress and to ask how we can work together to support your child’s learning.
Your child will have been encouraged to make appointments in his/her homework planner on an appointments’ page which you should bring with you on the night. Please remind them to do this.
Occasionally these are misplaced or your child may have not made many appointments. Please do not allow this to put you off coming as we make other documents available when you arrive that will enable you to find your child’s teachers and most teachers are able to fit in additional appointments on the night.
Mr Davies, your child’s Head of Year, will be available to see parents as will Mrs Todd our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
We value highly the partnership we have with our parents and carers and do hope that you will be able to attend on 11th February. We look forward to seeing you.
Mr A Boyle
