Mathematics plays a huge role in everyday life and is the key to a vast array of career pathways. St Mary's Maths Department is proud to offer many exciting opportunities for students to fulfil their potential and broaden their knowledge and enjoyment of the subject. It is vital that all students learn exactly how Maths relates to and underpins other curriculum subjects.

Learning with confidence:

Students are taught in sets from Year 7 to Year 11, and the Year Groups are split into two halves. We believe this accurate setting helps our students are to learn confidently at a pace well suited to their ability. There is always scope for movement to ensure that students are in the correct set at all times. There is additional support both in and out of class, with numerous revision programmes and revision lessons available.

This cookie expires when a user pauses on a page on your site for longer than 30 minutes. __utmz	This cookie stores the type of referral used by the visitor to reach your site, whether via a direct method, a referring link, a website search, or a campaign such as an ad or an email link. It is used to calculate search engine traffic, ad campaigns and page navigation within your own site. The cookie is updated with each page view to your site.	6 months from set/update.
