St Mary’s students are riding high on another set of great results across GCSE, A Level and vocational courses. A 14% increase in those achieving Maths and English grades demonstrates the fantastic improvements the college has made over the past 3 years.

Once again our students are leaving our very successful 6th Form to join Russell Group universities, colleges and apprenticeships. This includes Ciara and Michael who after achieving outstanding GCSEs went on to get 3As and a Distinction* securing places in aeronautical engineering at Liverpool University and Media production at Chester. Brothers Jude and Ted starred with Jude achieving A* A A at A Level and his younger brother Ted with 10 high grade GCSEs, 6 being grade 8 & 9.

St Mary’s offers a fully inclusive offer across GCSE and A level with opportunities for all. Staff were delighted with vocational results at both stages with 67% students achieving Distinction* and Distinction in performing arts and applied science at L3. Similar successes were found at L2.

Newly appointed CEO of the trust Andy Moor said, “We are delighted at the achievements of our students and know there is much more to come. St Mary’s is an exciting place to be.”
