Dear Parents and Carers
As you will be aware already we have reintroduced the wearing of face masks inside our school buildings at the start of the week. Our pupils have quickly responded very positively to this. Thank you for your support.
I have attached a joint letter from WIrral LA and Public Health Wirral which explains why this has been necessary.
Separately, we have been asked to reinstate asymptomatic testing in our school as we have had a number of cases over the last fortnight. We know that detecting asymptomatic cases is a crucial means of reducing the levels of transmission.
We have been advised that parents who have already given consent for the previous rounds of in school testing do not need to give it again.
The testing will resume in school on Monday 28th June 2021.
