Dear Parents and Carers
As I highlighted in my message on Thursday regarding the need for twice weekly LFD tests, the rates of positive cases in the North West including the Wirral have increased significantly and the advice from Public Health regarding the wearing of face masks in schools has changed as a result.
In the light of this, from Monday 21st June we need to reintroduce the wearing of face masks by pupils inside the school buildings including in classrooms.
Can I thank you in anticipation of your understanding and support for this important measure in us all playing our part in suppressing transmission.
