Good news. College will open and close at the normal times for pupils on Wednesday 11th
September. Our pupils will not miss any valuable lesson time.
The final timetable for the event was published over the summer holidays and it will pass the front of school before the end of the College day turning right on to Leasowe Road. A “rolling” road block will be in front of the leaders and behind those at the back of the field.
People may have seen signs referring to possible road closures between 11am and 4pm. The same sign is displayed around the Wirral rather than it referring to the Wallasey area. It is estimated that it will only take a few minutes for the whole field to pass by the front of school.
We will dismiss the pupils through the back gates at the end of the day.
For this day only all 4 College bus services will be waiting on Sandy Lane.
The bus services may be running a few minutes behind the timetable but will follow their normal routes. Train services are unaffected.
Parents who normally collect pupils at the front of school will need to collect pupils at the side or rear of the College site
