Theme of the Week: Working in the Dark. In this week’s Gospel, Jesus heals a man who had been blind, allowing him to see the world clearly for the first time. Yet the story is also about faith, some people could see with their eyes but still refused to recognise who Jesus truly was.
The theme Working in the Dark reminds us that there are times in life when we feel uncertain or unsure of the path ahead. During Lent, we are invited to trust that even when things seem unclear, God is still at work in our lives, bringing light, hope, and direction. #Lent #Faith #GospelReflection
In English, Year 8 students have been using our Emoji Reading Strategy to help them analyse and respond to 19th Century poetry.
We’re really proud of the persistent, disciplined and collaborative attitude to learning they’ve shown throughout the lessons. 👏📚
