The Ofsted outcome at St Mary’s Catholic College this term was a moment worth stopping to

celebrate. Kevin and the staff have worked incredibly hard over the last years and what the inspection

recognised is the result and impact of that.

What the inspection reflected was not a performance — it was evidence of a school that knows who

and where it is, takes its responsibilities seriously, and keeps its students at the centre. That kind of

culture has been built over years of consistent work by staff who care about the young people in front

of them.

I am proud of the work that has been done here and know the pupils, families and wider community

feel proud too. The work is not yet done but the celebration is important as we mark such an

important milestone.

Well done to Kevin and to everyone at St Mary’s for a fantastic achievement.
