This is currently a contracted services operated on behalf of Merseytravel, but from week commencing 13th May 2019 it will be operated commercially by Happy Als. As such it is no longer the responsibility of Merseytravel, nor can Merseytravel compete with these commercial routes.
The operator has informed us of their intention to charge commercial fares on this service, so from the effective start date which will be Monday 13th May 2019, the flat single journey fare will increase to £1.50. Customers using this service will still be able to use concessionary and prepaid tickets on this service and I would like to point out that purchasing a daily My Ticket for £2.20 represents good value as this can be used on other services throughout the day as long as the user is under 19 years of age.
