In joining St Mary's Sixth Form, you are beginning one of the most significant stages of your life. We are proud to offer you one of the most extensive and challenging range of Advanced courses available on the Wirral which includes a range of Level 3 and Level 2 courses.
We aim to provide you with the skills, opportunities and qualifications you need to progress to your next stage of education, training or employment.
Throughout your studies, our experienced and dedicated Sixth Form staff will closely monitor your progress, set targets, review achievement and aim to develop a close working relationship with parents or carers.
We are proud of the success of our students. The vast majority of our Level 3 candidates make a university application and obtain a place of their choice. We also have a excellent track record of supporting students onto apprenticeships.
Here at St Mary's we believe that pastoral support is a fundamental part of all academic progress and the emphasis we place on Catholic, Christian values ensures that the needs of each individual are always paramount.
Our Sixth Form team will ensure that throughout your studies, you will receive the best possible guidance and support. You will also receive positive and realistic encouragement so that you have the best chance of following your chosen pathway.
The strong sense of community within the College is enhanced by a wide range of enrichment opportunities, including fund raising, national and international trips, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme, the AQA Baccalaureate, plus sporting and Performing Arts events. We aim to provide experiences that will enable all our students to be well informed, reflective and responsible citizens.
