AS / A2 Business
You do not need to have studied Business at GCSE in order to take an AS or A Level course in this subject. It is more important that you should have an interest in current affairs and the business world and that you are able to communicate your ideas effectively.
The subject should be seen as an enjoyable and very relevant learning experience, with the issues taught and the skills learnt being used by pupils for many years to come. It will suit students who enjoy solving practical problems in a logical manner.
All work is assessed by external examination. Students will sit 2 examinations at the end of Year 12 and then a further 3 examinations at the end of Year 13.
The AS course is divided into two themes:

The A2 course is divided into four themes:

Theme 3: Business decisions and strategy
Theme 4: Global Business
