Welcome to the homepage of the Business Studies Department where you can find out about the courses we offer at St Mary’s. We are a highly motivated team of teachers with vast teaching and industrial experience and we have achieved excellent results at GCSE, BTEC and A' level.
In KS4 students our Business pathway involves students completing 4 units of work over Years 10 and 11. Students follow a Level 2 BTEC First Award in Business, which has a mix of internal and external assessments.
In KS5 students follow the BTEC National Certificate which is equivalent to an A Level. Assessment for this course consists of a mix of internal and external assessments. This course provides an excellent pathway for students wishing to go on to University or further study following KS5.
If you wish to find out more about any of these courses, please follow the links above to see a brief summary of the content delivered, copies of our learning programmes and links to useful resources.

__utma | This cookie is typically written to the browser upon the first visit to your site from that web browser. If the cookie has been deleted by the browser operator, and the browser subsequently visits your site, a new __utma cookie is written with a different unique ID.
